Air PurifiersAir Purifiers are Seriously Useful for the Seriously IllTip! Home air purifiers help rid the air of these particles that can cause allergic reactions and even trigger asthma attacks. If you can't change the way that your body treats what it perceives as a threat by allergic reaction, then you can work on changing the environment that you live in so that your body doesn't sense the presence of these allergy causing compounds. When it comes to breathing healthy air, the smaller the particle we take in, the greater risk it poses to our health. If we take a closer look at the air around us, in a shaft of sunlight, we will see that it is filled with billions of particles that are otherwise invisible to the naked eye. But did you know that there are still countless particles too small to be seen even when illuminated by those rays of sunlight. This can include mold spores, pollen, dust, dander, and bacteria, as well as other microorganisms and pollutants. Air purifiers are wonderful tools from safeguarding our respiratory systems from taking in too many unhealthy particles. These particles are irritants to us all, but they are an especially sensitive area to allergy sufferers. Additionally, asthma sufferers are also very prone to adverse reactions to unclean air. Contaminated air can make both of these groups of individuals experience many breathing and related problems. Some of these include wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. Other family members who are not outwardly sufferers from allergies or asthma are also susceptible to particles in the air but to lesser degrees. A purifier can help rid the air of many other undesirables such as pet odor or tobacco smoke. Also any other pollutants found in smog or air pollution can be removed through an air cleaner. All of these affect everyone in the house including your pets and children. The fact of the matter is we spend a large amount of time away from the home. Most of the time we spend away from home is at the office or wherever we work. Our air in the office should be just as fresh as the air at home. In general, most of us spend at least 40 hours a week at work. Office air cleaners help maintain the purity of air going into your respiratory system while you are away from the clean air at home. Fortunately many air purifier companies offer a period return which allows you to get some indication and direct experience of how they can help before you are committed to the purchase. It's amazing how many people just aren't aware of how helpful these machines can be. Today I was talking to somebody recovering from chemotherapy treatment for a serious cancer. His mother-in-law is dying of a lung disease. When I suggested an air purifier might help, striking his head, he commented on how he had just noticed one in a restaurant he visited and thought at the time, how nice it was to have one there. He admitted it hadn't even crossed his mind that it would also most likely help his mother-in-law. I was surprised to hear his colleague suggest that you can get good ozone air cleaners. Again I suggested that one does have to be wary of, or at least aware that ozone is a dangerous chemical in anything but the smallest quantities, particularly with somebody with breathing difficulties. Although ionizers could also produce ozone in minute quantities, it would be more suitable as the negative ions produce a general feel-good - very useful for sick people. We ended up thinking that a Hepa filter air cleaner with either an ultraviolet light sterilizer, or perhaps better, the ionizer combined would be most suitable. Let's wish them both well in their trials of life.
